Course Scholarships

All Courses:

To help educators access high-quality professional development, DESE and Missouri Public Broadcasting Stations have made it possible for the e-Learning for Educators: Missouri program to offer scholarships that cover the half of the course fee ($75 value) for courses in content areas identified as high need for the state of Missouri.

All Missouri teachers are eligible to apply; limited to one scholarship award per applicant.

Each scholarship is worth half of the registration fee ($75) for an e-Learning online professional development course. Scholarships are good for one year from award date. Any additional fees for graduate credit, etc. remain the responsibility of the course participant.

• To apply for a scholarship
• 1. Choose one course from the course list for the current semester.
• 2. Download and complete the scholarship application form. (PDF , Word Doc)
• 3. Return the completed application form to the e-Learning MO program coordinator before you register for any e-Learning for Educators: Missouri course.
• Send completed form as an e-mail attachment to elearning@missouri.edu
• OR
• Fax form to (573) 884-7614, attention e-Learning for Educators scholarship
• 4. All scholarship applications will be reviewed and awarded within 7-10 days of submission. Expect e-mail notification and explanation of next steps.

 

Discounts

e-Learning for educators offers discounts to groups of 3 or more teachers taking courses together. Discounts reduce the course fee from 150.00 per participants to 125.00 per participant.

In order to qualify for the discount teachers must:

• 1. Work in the same school building
• 2. Work in the state of Missouri
• 3. Agree to support and encourage each other
• 4. Share knew knowledge from the course with their peers
